Husainganj Police Participates in Religious Festivities with Community Bhandara

Lucknow — Embracing the spirit of devotion and community service, the Husainganj Police Station under Lucknow’s Central Zone took an active role in celebrating the third Saturday of Jyeshtha month, a time marked by deep religious significance and widespread public festivities in the region.

As the city witnessed numerous Bhandaras (community feasts) being organized across temples and public places on the occasion of Bada Mangal, the Chhitwapur police outpost, under the Husainganj jurisdiction, hosted a large-scale Bhandara for devotees, passersby, and local residents.

The feast included traditional offerings like puri-sabzi and chhole-chawal, served with devotion and discipline by the police team themselves. Hundreds of people participated and appreciated the thoughtful gesture.

This initiative by the police team was not just a mark of religious solidarity, but also a significant community outreach effort, aimed at strengthening public trust and fostering a sense of unity.

In blending law enforcement duties with cultural participation, the Husainganj Police has indeed “taken a dip in the spirit of faith,” winning hearts and bringing smiles in this sacred season of devotion.
